This game is easily worth full price for the single player alone. You’d be an idiot not to pick it up for $3

The multiplayer is back, like really back, and it slaps just as hard as ever. This is, genuinely, one of my main multiplayer games right now. The fight to the extraction on a loss is one of the most cinematic moments you’ll ever get in a PvP gamemode.
Believe the hype on this one.
Apparently there are 9000 people playing on steam right now. That’s not bad!
Yeah, player counts have been healthy for the last year. I’ve never had to queue more than a few seconds for a game in any mode.
The game is absolutely amazing. I bought it for 5 dollars. I suddenly couldn’t play it anymore because you still have to deal with some ea bullshit and even refunded these 5 dollars. Game is a 10/10 ea is a 0/10
Multiplayer is amazing, but everyone seems to be way beyond my skill set at this point
The best tip is to focus on killing ai in the Attrition mode, and stay near teammates. But the wave defense mode is fun too, as you level titans they get overpowered upgrades which would be too unbalanced in versus mode.

You forgot to quote the part where you have to be online for the single player campaign, as well.
It’s a fantastic (though kind of short) campaign, though. Spend the $3, enjoy it a time or two, then Uninstall all the shit.
I bought the game. Then immediately pirated it so I wouldn’t have to install this EA crap.
Worth it for the campaign alone at 5x that price. I got the game with no expectations years ago and was very impressed.
Agreed it’s easily one of my favorite single player campaigns.

Not really. I didn’t and it was fine.
First one didn’t have a campaign. It was online multilayer only.
And the “sequel” to this one is Apex Legends.

It’s EA Play now, which is actually somehow worse than Origin was.
Still, Titanfall 2 is actually a great game (probably my favourite of the PS4 era) and is well worth a little suffering for.
What the deal with EA Play? I see their subscription prices and I’m not doing that. Then below that I see the game for $3.99 CAD. Can I just get the game that way and not deal with any extra EA stuff?
I don’t know for sure in this case but some EA games require you to use EA Play as a launcher, even if you buy the game through Steam.
The desktop app is called “EA App” not “EA Play” which is where the confusion is coming from. “EA Play” is the game subscription service that’s like gamepass.

actually a masterpiece of a game, the campaign is so unbelievably worth it, just keep in mind the vanilla multiplayer is unplayable due to ddosing. if you want to play multiplayer, look into the northstar client
AFAIK the ddosing was solved/stopped a while who, the multiplayer works great now

Multiplayer was fixed like a year ago, I had 5 great matches last night with maybe a bit of lag on some guys, but that’s normal for vidja gamez
