A long time ago when I handed off my duties when leaving, my replacement (in house) was absolutely astonished at how little I was doing. I had taken the global fleet of bar/retail/hotel/restaurant/office printers (minus properties in China) from around 30% of total being OOS to less than 3% in 18 months. Everything from giant plotters to the fry cooks’ line printers.

What my replacement didn’t see was the 3 months I spent not sleeping. Worth every second.

Automate the living fuck out of everything (that’s ok to automate) & read reports / logs.

I do not believe in ‘protected beliefs’ any more than I do in religious rights. They have no place in the modern world.

Protection from unjust persecution and discrimination for holding beliefs should always be a thing, providing those practicing those beliefs do not in turn subject others who do not hold the same tenets to persecution or discrimination.

People have rights. Ideas, ideals, and beliefs do not, no matter how noble it may seem.

Such a shame. I grew up a couple of miles from his old house, Terry/HH would be out on the town, autoparts, picking up take out, riding his motorcycle, regular dude / dad stuff etc etc. He had a reputation of being super nice, soft spoken, and a good tipper, you know in the before times of long ago.
