Guessing they still have no idea why people liked Battlefield around the Bad Company to BF3/4 days. It’s a complete mystery.
Modern audiences want unique looking heroes with purple tazers and quips about food delivery apps not servicing warzones.
The South is not allowed to secede.
Nor is Scotland, if that’s what you’re referring to.
War Within
I agree.
I’ll add there’s apparently no point to a degree in it because it seems even the ones who have one learned nothing.
I played through FarbCry 3 and 4 and started getting into 5 recently.
I just couldn’t.
They got markedly worse reach time. I was able to finish 4, but the “THIS IS AN UBISOFT GAME” vibe became more and more shameless. It felt gross, it was filtered through something ugly. I never felt the love for it that Far Cry 3 earned. I still vividly remember visiting the first shop and seeing “Painted Pachyderms! Spend Uplay points to make all the elephants colorful!” It was on the front page, it was so fucking UbiSoft. It made sure I’d never see the gun stores in FC3’s successor as gun stores in any kind of immersive way.
With FC5, it just got worse.
I think I want to try Far Cry 2 some time, I think I used to play it a very long time ago but I barely remember it. I remember the malaria shots and the very flammable grass.
You must’ve been super excited about the AAAA spin-off where they removed boarding.
Somebody needs to remove the “Non” from this forum, because I find this completely credible.
I mean, they literally didn’t even seem to want it to appeal to anyone.
Life imitates art.
Art paints soldiers in latex pants and neon bras wielding anime Gucci guns.
You got a downvote from a guy who thinks Ukrainian women like dying in war for attention.
What all obedient reviews have been, yes. And those are the reviews you’ve been seeking out and watching.
Not for most of the Dark Souls crowd.
But what I’m thinking is that they don’t really have much leverage, I don’t know who is expecting this studio to put out more than this one anticipated game before returning to relative obscurity. At most they can provide a shorter demo and deny the full game codes to reviewers that didn’t obey.
Different kind of special this time.
It has a chance to become one of the games of all time.
Few Eastern and Southern Europeans give a shit, Northern Europeans are all in, way more votes per capita. Sweden rallying together a whopping 0.13% of the country.
I didn’t expect this thread to be anywhere near this good
They’re usually just liars acting as a filter between the game and the interested customers.
Instead of just showing the have, they cut what doesn’t look good and make it appear as something more than it is. That’s their job.
It’s not adding value. Peak marketing executed perfectly is just misleading enough to increase sales beyond what just seeing the game would do, without making the customers mad enough to have a negative impact.
I make a rare exception for actual artistry, like some of the WoW expansion cinematics. It’s still pretty misleading, but they’re pretty.
As for the next Elder Scrolls, I don’t think Bethesda has the devs to make it fun or interesting. From what I’ve seen from them, they are not particularly competent.
