This is so true. The state of gaming on the Steam Deck is great right now. Even the foreboding unsupported status is only ever really a problem with asinine anti-cheat, and that’s just like a handful of games that aren’t worth playing in the first place.

When people hear the concept of thought crimes described to them, they rightfully recoil in disgust at that kind of dystopic idea. However, euphemize the concept as intellectual property, and for some reason, most people are fine with it.

This is wrong. I run Bazzite and have transfered my FF profile over without issue. The Ublue “distros” just use the FF flatpak. You can follow the same instructions as you would on any other distro to move your FF profile with the flatpak version.

Here’s a neat tip:

You can go to most publisher or developer pages on Steam and “ignore” them to prevent Steam from ever showing you their slop again.

Example:

1. Go to: https://store.steampowered.com/developer/Ubisoft
2. Click the “Settings” cog.
3. “Ignore this creator”

You can do the same with EA, 2K, etc. Don’t even give these parasites microseconds of your time when they release their next slop title.
