Id argue that most people think that the good times never end, which is why economies and stock markets are constantly crashing. They don’t prepare for it not being perfect.

I recently made a comment to the effect that if you’re from China, Russia, or the US you’re used to your country getting away with anything it likes and zero repercussions. As a result the populace is not psychologically prepared for things to go wrong compared to pretty much everyone who lives in the third world. My comment made people very angry, it was weird.
I’m sorry, it really sounds like it turned into an addiction for you. Very happy that you got away from it. Be careful with addictive substances or activities in your life, some people have a predisposition for it.
I’ve tried this one before. People can’t see that at least something is better than now.
ML became an echo chamber and many have fled.

Nintendo already hates him. Remember how they twice deleted his Mario maker levels without explanation?
You’re being a bagel lol. The city itself is not saying that, individual residents are.
I’m confused by how that relates to twitter leaving San Francisco
That’s weird since bots are the major users.
The word you want is “sophistry”.
lol had something similar happen when I made a single comment in a post that came up on /r/all. It’s a terrible way to moderate and is basically like “zero tolerance” policies in public schools that do nothing to fix the problems
It’s because there are more pedophiles than anyone wants to admit and many of those who live a truly blessed life think they can get away with it. What you’re seeing is that this is a big problem and nobody is doing anything to help.
This was my experience. My first interaction was me asking a question in good faith. I was then attacked en masse and banned. When I asked about it, I was told how I was a terrible person for not already knowing and believing what they do.
Yes exactly this. The sort who play dress up in daddy’s tactical gear and dreams of being a hero is also the sort to yell at a minimum wage employees who can’t defend themselves. They have never face real adversity and have no idea what it would be like.
