It depends a lot on the series, for exanple Modern Warfare usually has related campaigns, for both its modern and original trilogies. Bkack ops is way more unrelated

When we are talking about indie dev communication, this is mostly those kind of things that are being referred to. I think we do agree tho that discord was a very bad medium for that.

Mastodon sounds good for this. Gitlab, github and forgejo are completely inappropriate tools to do a game devlog on often closed-source projects and answer gameplay related questions

I bought it a few months ago and it’s still amazing. It’s just the most complete version of splatoon 3 you can get. Matchmaking is still very active, and the story is very good, and the dlc is just awesome (it has one of the most special ambiance you could get in a splatoon game)
