Allow them to work and they can fund their stay anywhere. Anyway, like like all that’s moot now, Trump is going to be going with the government accommodation model.

Or you could just not lock them up, allow them a temporary stay until their case is heard, etc. It’s a lot cheaper to do it this way too.
In fact, you could allow people to make their asylum claim in the country of origin or a third country so they don’t have to make this dangerous trip to the border while funding organised crime on the way.
The DMCA was never about protecting the little guy.
Yeah, I just didn’t really know about it before, I agree that that was always the project.
Yeah, I used to think a two state solution was eventually workable, but now I see this whole project needs to be stopped.
That’s why they evacuated it, they know Israel would bomb it. They’ve targeted hospitals and abundances in Lebanon before (and Gaza as well, of course).
The witnesses said the car appeared to reverse after hitting the cyclist for a second time before moving forward again, over the man’s body. The driver’s teenage daughter was also in the car at the time, witnesses said.
That’s straight up murder, should be prison time. People shouldn’t be getting away with murder because they happened to be sitting in a metal box at the time.
I paid A$1,189.00 for the 1TB OLED one, Valve will be selling it for A$ 1,049.00. To me, that wasn’t a huge difference, especially considering there was no indication Valve was ever going to sell it here.
Luckily we’ve had grey imports for a while that were pretty much only a few $100 more.
Yeah, I see lots of bitching about there being (gasp) communists on a platform that was built by communists.
It went up a little, but nothing compared to the equivalent in rent you’d pay for the same place.
At least you can’t get kicked out or have your rent raised for arbitrary reasons. Some renters are basically moving every year.
I think there’s a bit of a sea change in business generally where arbitration ended up being worse for corporations if too many customers/employees used that option because it meant paying a bunch of money for each case instead of dealing with one class action suit.
While the arbitration courts themselves are generally biased to corporate interests, it’s not enough of a thumb on the scale to make up for the huge downside.
The same guy who invited Netanyahu to Congress, going around the president to do so?
Steam itself doesn’t run the games, right? Couldn’t they easily build a small 32 bit launcher for the older games that need it?
Yeah, throw it on the pile.
And I don’t get why they would use it for graphics instead of using an AI coprocessor to do interesting stuff in games, like generating dialogue, complex missions, smarter NPCs, maps, etc.
You could build worlds where stuff happens that isn’t just governed by randomly doing stuff based on triggers.
I mean, could’ve technically been in Kursk, but yeah, they probably use that language for any part of Ukraine they’re occupying.
