Nintendo in my experience:
Physical: Get it right on release day (or in the first week after) in retail for about 40€, otherwise you will have to rely on rare good retail discounts to get it below 55€
Digital: Don’t you even dare to think about discounts
Some also taste like chicken, I’ve heard.
Since 5:45 we’re shflooding back!
assert triangleObject.shouldFitInHole(triangleHole) == true
assert triangleObject.shouldFitInHole(squareHole) == false
Technically correct, but back, when Reddit allowed 3rd party apps, I did get the occasional “Hey you lost something” comment, as some apps had a broken markdown rendered that wouldn’t display it without.
Also it can have side effects if you use an underscore in the same paragraph or use it twice in a row, as it then suddenly can render as italic.
¯\_(ツ)/¯ Not sure how Lemmy reacts, though ¯\_(ツ)/¯
Although I know this, I cannot remember where I need to escape. So I just have two custom autocorrections: shrug
which yields the regular (and broken on Lemmy) ¯_(ツ)_/¯ for general use and shrugmd
with the markdown variant for the use on e.g. Lemmy: ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
In the end it’s:
shrug: ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
shrugmd: ¯\\\_(ツ)\_/¯
Easy: Just have him in a headlock and then hit right on target until you win. He didn’t think this through…
My head canon is, that they’re analyzing posts and comments and used that to weed out bots in the past. “Oh, this looks like 90% of our content - it’s a human” - “Oh, this doesn’t look like 90% of our content, probably a bot”. Now the baseline shifted and everyone who is not a bot triggers it and gets banned.
Surface are basically a tablet (=all hardware and weight in the monitor). You can get them with a cover that contains a keyboard but it is still top heavy (think of a normal cover for a tablet, but slightly more sturdy because of the keyboard).
There’s also a surface book that more or lees is like a laptop - from the looks of it. The bottom part with the keyboard is heavier, but only contains the keyboard, an USB hub and additional batteries. It’s till top heavy with it, as you can “detach the screen” and still have a fully functional “PC tablet”.
