Same. I try to keep a routine nowadays. Whack it before bed, as I am very single, and that’ll keep me out trouble most of the next day. Occasionally there’s one in the morning if there was a particularly spicy dream or something, but that’s about it

I was gonna say, that’s only twice a day. I average 4-5 times a day until I was like 20-25. About once a day since, sometimes more, sometimes less. But 60 a month doesn’t seem so crazy to me.

Secondly, I’m a proponent of thorn, I get it. But ð was almost exclusively used medially and terminally in English. In addition it didn’t last nearly as long, and is much less recognizable as a letter in English. Þ was used initially, and is far more commonly seen in English. I get that you’re using them for voiced and unvoiced like in Icelandic, but that wasn’t so much the convention in English. I’m not against it, I’m asking to be sold on it. Lol. Sell me on why I need eth instead of just using thorn for both voiced and unvoiced, please? I’m willing to be converted.

And third, I’m having trouble finding it, was eth on it’s own ever used as a single letter spelling of the, or is that your own addition? I like it. When writing (by hand) notes or things only I’ll be reading, I use the þe shorthand that looks like an e cradled in the crook of a y, like was common in colonial America.

We had those big red atlases (Atli?) with the glossy covers from over half the US states, and smaller maps for all the counties in Virginia, NC, SC, and about half of TN. Huge ass stack of em in both door panels, under each seat, and several on the back seat. My brother collected them whenever he could. I think he’s still depressed he never finished his collection before giving up and finally getting a gps (only like 2 years before decent smart phone gps)

Oh I know they do great on some (most?) of their consoles, but I still think they do better at actual games than they do at consoles. Also, aren’t consoles almost always money losers, anyway? Like, they take a hit so that they can sell more games, which actually make them the money? Or is Nintendo the exception to that rule or thumb?

I know it’s not happening, but I’d love it if Nintendo went the way of Sega, and just made games. They’ve always been hit and miss with their consoles anyway, it’s the games people love. Just fuck it, start releasing games for multiple platforms and focus on what you’re actually fucking good. Pipe dream, I know

Same thing happened to my mom. They just weren’t good, gave her headaches. Called them and got them replaced for free, plus they refunded the order so they basically paid her for her glasses. Never had any more problems. Got mine with the money she got refunded.
