And that’s perfectly fine, life would be dull if we all liked and disliked the same things.

Ey r rkid there ain’t no need for that you muppet
Thanks for sharing your experience in this world.
Do you have any idea what changed over that time to make the game evolve to lose that sense of community?
Is it a numbers thing in that it got so large it became more difficult to build longstanding communities? Or something else.
I’m just very interested in this now.
That was sad, heartwarming, and inspiring.
I’ve never been into RPGs and didn’t really understand the appeal. I now regret missing out on the communities that these games can seemingly foster. I was more into Minecraft on my own, which allowed me to escape but the loneliness was probably made worse and thus any low mood that followed.
Really glad I went against my initial instinct that I wouldn’t enjoy this programme as it was really well made.
Thank you for providing more information and those articles.
I’ve been reading a little about this this morning and it’s kinda crazy that probably the largest humanitarian crisis on earth right now isn’t getting more mainstream media attention.
I don’t really know much about this, but this feels wrong.
Why punish consumers, we should be striving to make European cars cheaper not make Chinese ones more expensive.
I’m sure there are many European countries where the government funds progression in other industries.
We also let American companies take control of industries.
I’m interested in hearing more about what’s happening in Sudan and why.
I’ve been to a lot of pro Palestine marches and there is often a lot of Sudanese people there speaking about issues happening there.
Fair enough.
For what it’s worth if you’re happy with anti-cheat at the kernel level then crack on. If I don’t trust corporations with that level of access then that’s also fine.
This isn’t something I would ever install in my system and the two games I play Minecraft and Factorio both don’t have this issue so I’m not missing out by not playing COD 8928384 or whatever popular games use this.
You care enough to reply again.
Not enough observation to read this room aye.
You speak for an entire demographic. How do you get that role?
No problem. I just want to say your English is amazing for a non-native speaker / writer.
Also, I carry my burdens around the home like Sisyphus so there is that 😂.
As long as it’s not detrimental to other areas of your life, I don’t see that as a bad thing.
I’m not sure if you’re being serious right now and it doesn’t help that my Greek mythology knowledge is severely lacking (something I’ve wanted to learn more about).
So in case you don’t know what I’m talking about, indoor bouldering is like indoor rock climbing but not so high you need a belay system. Also, the climbs imitate boulders and so you might climb with all the holds being above your head, like the top of a cave.
As an expert in hobbies, I can honestly say this is freaking amazing. It’s got physical activity mixed in with problem solving and all the people I’ve talked to are super nice too (geeks, we are all geeks). If anything like me I find it hard to turn off my mind; this does that for me though. It’s meditative for me.
Crystal.
I could have guessed until the end of time and welding probably wouldn’t have been a guess.
That’s a cool hobby. I know if I had a welder I wouldn’t be able to just not weld random things.
My hobby is hobbies. I start something spend whatever money I want whilst it entertains me and then drop it without reason and move on to something else. Some I will come back to years later.
The curse of ADHD.
When friends comment on my ever changing hobbies and dropping them, my reply is simple; it’s the journey for me and not the end goal.
Current hobbies and durations:
Do we just guess what that hobby is?
I don’t mean this to come across as rude, but why would you make this comment and not mention the hobby; without it the comment is pretty useless.
Naive would be a better adjective than dumb, imo.
Here’s me raw dogging my salads.
Can we have one mention of windows or macOS without someone coming shilling Linux all smug and superior?
I’m extremely tech savvy, a software engineer and nerd of decades, so I got sick of seeing all the Linux stuff and decided to wipe windows last week.
Installed fedora, set up networking and then the Nvidia Proprietary drivers and did whatever it needed to do with secure boot.
Powered off and on and boom no network connectivity at all and not sure what happened.
Suffice to say it piqued my inner nerd and I’ll put hours into setting this up again as it’s fun, I’ve gone Arch btw, but let’s not pretend that the average user is going to have an easier experience than they would on windows or Mac.
