CLU is like $250k by itself, missile is like $220k. And prolly like $200k of that missile price is what’s visible on the nose before the first hammer tap. Arri Alexa’s dream of growing up to be that camera lol.

As a former 0352, you need to fire the javelin from the CLU for any of the special javelin sauce to work. There is no “firing” of this missile in the traditional sense once it’s out of its tube. Firing it as intended would probably be the most effective option, however you need line of site to engage with that weapons system. Using a drone to deliver the explosive portion of the missile allows for Ukrainian troops to stay out of direct line of site bc drone, so while less materially effective, prolly way more effective in terms of Ukrainian lives which is what matters most.
Part of my soul is sad to know that little guy won’t be able to live out his *PHUNK* *KAWWWOOOOSSSHHHH* *KABOOM* dreams, but if he gets to kill some invaders, save some Ukrainians, and is happy then I’m happy. Better than getting teased by trying to bracket camels and taking bets on whether it would track.
Yeah I bought the original destiny collectors edition, with the little ghost collectible toy thing and all that. I never even bothered playing the second game.
I mean developers still haven’t really abandoned the PS4 have they? I’ve pretty much stopped playing games on my PS4, but last I checked any new release I would have wanted was coming out on both PS4 and PS5.
I currently use AI, through Nvidia Broadcast, to remove the sound of the literal server rack feet away from my xlr mic in my definitely not sound treated room so people I’m gaming with don’t wind up muting me. It also removes the clickety clack of my blue switches and my mouse clicks, all that shit.
It’s insanely reliable, and honestly a complete godsend. I could muck around with compressors and noise gates to try to cut out the high pitch server fan whine, but then my voice gets wonky and I’ve wasted weeks bc I’m not an audio engineer but I’m obsessive, and the mic is still picking up my farts bc why not use an xlr condenser mic to shit talk in cs?
Edit - Oh, I also use the virtual speaker that Broadcast creates as the in-game (or Discord or whatever) voice output, and AI removes the same shit from other people’s audio. I’ve heard people complaining about background music from another teammates open mic while all I hear is their perfectly clear voice. It’s like straight up magic.
Much appreciated, I can actually listen to this video without throwing my phone into a wall.
I followed that link fully prepared to watch the entire hour and a half video. I guess it has to be some YouTube conceit, but holy fuck that person narrating needs to fucking talk like a normal person. It sounds like they recorded a bunch of single lines, then spliced them all in like voiceovers in post, but it’s every single sentence. Or maybe they’re trying to talk like the text to speech TikTok voice?
Bros just saying some arbitrary factoid and sounds like he’s doing the overdub for a 90’s movie trailer.
Heroiam slava!
Cultural clothing? Just to be clear, it’s the approved color for the undershirt worn under the camo blouse in the military. Zelensky is the commander in chief, so he’s wearing military clothing while leading is country during wartime. He has said before that he’ll go back to suits when Russia is defeated. Maybe I’m misunderstanding what you mean by “cultural clothing”.
So what were you trying to say when you said “… videos like this should be taken with a grain of salt. There is propaganda on both sides.”?
I don’t want to put words in your mouth, but you’re very obviously trying to imply something there, so just say it.
For the record I made it very clear that I was asking you what you were implying, I doubt any rational person would read anything in my previous comment as putting words in your mouth.
Are you implying the video is fake, like they aren’t Russian captives? Or are you implying that the Russian captives are lying?
The fact that Russian captives are saying anything beyond name, rank, and serial number while obviously being recorded is already a huge L for russian military training and discipline.
RIGS on the original psvr used this method for aiming the guns on your mech. Obviously aiming in a game vs an actual fpv drone is different, but it was remarkably intuitive once you got over the looking one way and moving the other nausea.
That’s nsfl video is crazy as fuck, they were just stuffing dead motherfuckers in what used to be a barracks room?
Fuel and ammunition, plus random shit like grease and oil and stuff for the tracks or whatever, idk I didn’t work in the motor pool like that but I assume they have grease fittings. It’s the same concept as a car fire.
Yeah I guess, I was just thinking about it in the context of a person setting up a marker for a middle/drone to hone in on.
This is basically the inverse of how laser guided missiles work.
Jfc thank god this game that came out on the PS4 got remastered for the PS5. Idk what I I would have done, it’s not like I can just put my HZD PS4 disc in my PS5 and play it or anything.
