So even if 100% of Linux gamers cheated it could in no way be the majority.
What I think happened is the dev team struggled to solve the problem so they used Linux as a scapegoat when leadership came down on them.
Or bring server browsers back and let server mods handle it.
I’ve rarely, if ever, had a bad time using a server browser.
A more modern idea. Put all the chesters into the same lobbies through matchmaking

If I had another go I’d probably purchase the 8bitdo Pro 2 Hall edition as it can switch between xinput and direct input.

You can get stuck in a loop if you have multiple accounts such as a dev and production account.
So if you’re in stuck in the dev account and need to log into production you get stuck in a loop of it trying to login as the dev account.
The only way out is to find a dev site and log out from the dev account.
Agreed. FSR 3 really is amazing and I’d gladly use that to pull a few more years of playing my favorite games on 720p low.
Upscalers are great for portables I just hope it’s not used to excuse poor optimization.
That said I only play fps on my desktop, the steam deck opens up an entirely different class of games for me.
Agreed I would totally support emus using a business software license just because of how they’re treated by business.

Download game, enable offline mode on your steam deck for vacation.
Open game on the plane, in offline mode, get booted from game because you can’t log in.
Megaman battle network got me this way. Switched to emulator and played the same game before it was enshittified.
I honestly don’t understand why games don’t simply use something like Android does.
If I have a 720p monitor, download lower res assets and a smaller game. If I have a 4k monitor, download all the pixels and consume 100gb.
All of the Microsoft sounds trigger this.

Android looks good. Why do they have the change the look again when not nearly every app is even using Material You?
I’d rather performance, power, and more capabilities like desktop mode.
