Agree, we should have been paying attention years ago.
Music (mainly prog rock) and veggie loving, geeky cat butler living in Hertfordshire UK. A lover of all things LOTR (since I first read it over 50 years ago) scifi and what have you. Ex soldier (Royal Artillery) and other trades ;-)

So long, and thanks for all the fish.

I’m in the artillery man, play it LOUD!
If the orange one wins, they deserve any shit that happens to them, it’s not like they haven’t been warned.
Good. Let’s get them all to defect/surrender. They’ll have a better quality of life this side of the fence.
And quite a few books :-(
I never realised what it was called but have always thought that we should never have stopped when we did. Yes it would have been costly in loss of personnel (civ and military) and expensive but think of all the suffering and money saved by not having a Soviet Union.
Hope they’ve written their wills.
Target round. End of mission.
Superb work. Let’s see more of it.
No, you’re thinking of NATO. But nobody should be shooting at UN forces. If the UN had any balls, they’d not have let Israel (or Hamasl) in there in the first place. Israel are just taking the piss now and they’ll continue until they’ve decided otherwise.
Should have done that 2 years ago.
It would appear that Israel will be allowed free rein.
I used to feel supportive of them. Not anymore though. Not a supporter of Hamas either.
Religion has a lot to answer for.
Had to check in with his handler at some point.
So does that mean this UN mission has failed then? A quick look suggests they are supposed to be keeping Hezbollah out of the picture and Israeli forces out of Lebanon. All of it wasted, there are over 10000 UN personnel there. Since they first went there in 1978 it seems they’ve been as much use as a sock on a fish.
Ha ha ha.
This has been going on in some form or another for quite some time. There is an excellent BBC documentary by David Dimblebly from a few years ago that is worth watching. He travelled across Russia and this was going on all over. Ex military in schools teaching weapons drill and love for the motherland. Nor sure when it changed from motherland to fatherland. Maybe when Putin decided to come out of the nazi closet.
Excellent work - Slava Ukraini!
So we need to give them the longer range kit ASAP. Before that orange tool gets involved. If necessary, Europe and the UK need to go it alone.
