Yeah, reddit is corporate plastic these days. Fake, cheap, unhealthy.

Lemmy.ml is actively spreading malicious authoritarian propaganda, better to just avoid it
Absolutely.
The dictator alliance (Kremlin, CCP, Pyongyang, Tehran) are using our open societies and free speech against us. We need to use it against them too.
Fair point. I see that as a potential silver lining in this whole Kremlin disinformation era. At least some people will see it for what it is and learn.
There’s less advertising but more propaganda
Alright there champ, that’s enough beans for you, time for a nap
Not sure about Bluesky, but welcome Brazilians!
Thank you for your efforts, I have so much respect for the people who are helping to build a healthy fediverse.
Do you have Hexbear and the .ml instances blocked?
Seems like there’s basically no effort to address disinformation. I love the idea of the fediverse, but I’ve never told a single person I use it in well over a year because I’d be embarrassed if they ever visited and saw some of the content that gets upvoted here.
Most people want to block those instances, not access them.
Accurate
There’s some text up top… but I don’t know if there’s any lower down
Ohh shit… gonna have to get a running start for this one
SWF should work with Meta occasionally, when it’s necessary
God forbid anyone does anything about rampant disinformation on an almost entirely unregulated platform with a $0 budget for managing disinformation and propaganda.
Hi friend, I’m Bob from Ohio (or maybe Florida!). Anyway, I promise there’s nothing to worry about… other than the billions of human flesh eating illegal immigrants flooding across the border to torture your family for their sadistic pleasure. Just vote for Trump and everything will be fine!
Kremlin shills and the LLMs they manage.
How will Hexbear users threaten to execute them by firing squad if they’re not federated :(
Edit: This happened to me, so any real people down voting can shove it.
Damn look at that HAT, must have taken 50 beavers to make that thing
