Dayz.
Just hit 3.5k hours and it’s still the most exciting game I’ve ever played. Nothing else gives the same adrenaline kick as a good encounter or a fight in Dayz. Also a great game for meeting new people as talking to others in this game is a must.
I believe many quite a few people are against it, but afraid of speaking up - knowing they’ll be dragged into a back alley of they do.
At least this one isnt hosted on Github, so assume its more difficult for them to take this one down(?)

Personally never had a problem finding what i needed for opensuse. Its easy to add repos via yast, plus opensuse you can use both zypper plus obs package managers, the latter being quite fast and easy to use. OpenSuse also has support for rpm packages, meaning anything meant for rhel/Fedora systems can also be installed on opensuse.
You can also view all installable packages here: https://software.opensuse.org/packages
If you feel TW is too fast on the release cycle you can also try Slowroll, which is TW but with a slower release cycle.
Nice write up, seems like you know what you are jumping into atleast. Personally would recommend to give Bazzite a try and not rule out immutables too quickly, nothing is more solid than these variants. If not immutable, then my best experience lies with Opensuse TW by far. Super stable, yet bleeding edge.
Irongate in Sweede or Funcom in Norway, are two right off the top of my head.

Personally don’t have a deck… yet. I run Bazzite as my OS on my PC though. However, I read and see a lot of people running Bazzite on decks on forums and discord. This is also where i’d recommend going for answers such as you asked for. If I had to guess there isn’t much difference when it comes to battery life - they’re both running the same kernel. The reason you would want to switch, as shown on their website is to unlock the ability to run flatpak on your deck.
