The lighting is so fascinating. It is so stark on the ship and then just vast dark nothingness behind it. I guess it is obvious that space photography wouldn’t have the shadows we have on the ground, but seeing photos like this always reminds me how small we all are.

Oh I still have fun playing it when I can! But it’s more of a desperate attempt at survival and less a strategic hunt for the bounty and skilled firefight with enemies. I wish this existed back when I was in college and had more free time to play and friends available to co-op with. I’m so anxious about letting down teammates I’m matched with online.
This game has such a fun premise, and the atmosphere is incredible. I wish I had enough free time to really get good at it.

Why post with so little detail for the date? It’s vaguely informative, sure. But it is the 1900’s, surely we haven’t lost this knowledge and need to date it like ancient egytian archeology.
I don’t want the masses from Reddit to migrate to Lemmy. I want people currently on Lemmy to post and comment. More engagement is what we need. No one is going to move to Lemmy if they see the top posts are hours old with only 100 upvotes and no comments.
If they didn’t leave Reddit by now, they like the new Reddit experience.
