Yeah, also with physical games, it might be possible to save money, unless they all want to play the same game at the same time.

Steve: I want you to be a pretty women.
Genie: huh, okay. poof
Steve: my second wish is, you become my wife and love me desperately forever.
Genie: dafuq!?
Stop hitting yourself, argument.
Not just right wing voices emerge, democratic people now see it’s pointless to argue. Which is the much bigger damage. Imagine what happens when people no longer fight back. We live in post-factual times, it’s over.
It’s almost always instantly. Like sometimes second after posting. Then it either snowballs or it goes back into positive. But initially, be it on Lemmy or Reddit it happens. I’m not constantly complaining about China, the handful of times though, it’s super obvious. Doesn’t happen on other topics.
It’s also a lot of bots. They are here too. For example, just say China plus something negative about them, in a thread about China. Easiest downvoted one can get. Make sure it’s a fact and not whataboutism, to avoid contaminating the test.
Gaming used to not be like that, but now a good GPU alone costs 800 to 2500 bucks. Sure you get away with cheaper components but at what cost, you got to be patient gamer to enjoy this endeavor.
Yeah that’s actually good. It’s also the first time I’ve seen reverse on this greed process that’s seemingly everywhere nowadays. I might be negative about Nintendo sometimes, but that’s great move of them. Kudos.
Fuck VW. They sleep on providing cheap eCars and now the people have to suffer by losing jobs.
In before: “Dude, you don’t need high res textures or better audio. I play on lowest setting anyways.”
The switch only had Super Mario Odyssey. I don’t count rehash with a short new bonus level. SMO was amazing, but where is SMO2?
Zelda Totk is basically Botw and you just need the later to have the same map. Also both Zelda were no traditional Zelda’s, they were mostly sandbox games.
Kirby was largely seen as too easy, one really has to be okay with that. I was hyped but didn’t expect it to be that easy. Left me kind of disappointed.
Metroid Dread, I wish it hadn’t been a 2D platformer as there are so many of them. Most interchangeable. Looking forward M4 still.
Megaman, I’m no fan of so I can’t say much about it.
Splatoon is amazing and a big selling point. Same with smash, but you could just own one of the dozen different versions on a different system and would not notice.
Pokémon has always been my selling point, but everyone knows the issue with those. I literally have more fun playing old DS Pokémon games, even though challenge never was their strong point.
Nintendo Switch 2 is just Nintendo. While with a portable device you could play so many indie games on the go that either have expensive Switch ports or don’t exist for the Switch at all. Switch 2 is not going to change that. And yeah, I asked myself a lot if I have just outgrown Nintendo games, but truth is Nintendo changed a lot and so have their other publisher releasing for Nintendo systems. I’d not have as much fun with old games, who I have never played before otherwise.
PC is the only console I’m excited about. Switch 1 was already collecting dust and I’m still waiting for that Metroid game that was supposed to be on it. However portable devices are on the rise, like Steam Deck for instance. I’d currently rather get that, than a Switch 2. we don’t even know what games S2 will have.
It’s the only trustworthy site I know. I hope they don’t destroy it :(
I hope enough people will buy it in EA, so they can get the required money. But I’ll 100% wait til the game is complete for my first run.

Let me guess, probably /r/StarTrek or /r/conspiracy. The only two subreddits I’ve ever got banned at and both for strange reasons.
On StarTrek, for pointing out how Star Trek Discovery is bad (without using swearing) and the mods are overreacting by being ban happy on everyone who says so (as I had seen the other subreddit before, where all the banned people complained about the original subreddit), which resulted in me getting banned and into a conversation with a drunk moderato who thought this is funny, how he can abuse his moderator power to permanent ban me. He talked like a 10 years old with aneurysm, when I pointed out his hypocrisy.
On conspiracy, for commenting a conspiracy that was in no way against any rule or TOS. So I guess I was right, too bad I forgot what it was as it was meaningless, tiny. I just remember how hilarious it was suddenly getting banned there by only ever commenting a conspiracy once. On a later thought this was good as I noticed how crap the subreddit was/is.
$5 alarm clock for $100 because it says Nintendo, nice. Even with its extra features.
For $100 you can buy a phone with android 13, 70€ in a sale.
Germany has this law, sponsored segments must be clearly labelled. But one could just hash the ad anyways or just try to fast forward and if it doesn’t work and it would be the ad.

Where does the believe even originate from, that Redditors are any different than Lemmings? Basically the same people minus the youngest, because they stick with using Reddit. They might or might not migrate eventually.
Make communities here bigger by contributing and spread the word of Reddit alternative. Make search engines find Lemmy content and then it goes on it’s own. I guess Bluesky will push the Fediverse, but I wonder how long people will stick to a Twitter esque when they could have Lemmy full text conversations and tree structures?
