What annoys you about the ladders? To this day, I find them among the easiest video game ladders to use. No stupid button prompts; just hold W. To go down one, just face it backwards and press S. Simple, genius design.

This exactly. I didn’t join Lemmy for a long time, because I would search for “Lemmy”, get confused when I see a page asking me to “pick an instance” instead of seeing a front page, and then leave because I thought that they were all independent from each other.
It wasn’t until reddit killed my favorite app that I finally decided to put in the effort to figure it out.
CoD mobile is good… when played in an Android emulator on PC. It’s basically CoD: Greatest Hits, and it’s way better than Black Ops 6 (or any console/PC CoD, for that matter). All the best maps from the old games are there. Takes me back to the days of MW1 & 2 on the XBOX 360.
The only issues is that it takes some tweaking and the right emulator (Gameloop) to get a steady 120+ FPS, and it can take dozens of matches before game starts pairing you with other mouse and keyboard players (instead of just bots or controller/touchscreen users), but once you’ve established your rank, it becomes ton of fun cause you’re not just destroying everyone you match against. It becomes a legit challenge.
Unfortunately none of them have any fast respawn servers. By the time the cooldown period ends, the war is already over.
Hilarious, but if they actually assumed that then they would allow you to put different toppings on each half of the sub.
Sugar, cinnamon, and butter on spaghetti is amazing (sans meat, herbs, and spaghetti sauce, in case it needed to be said). It doesn’t taste like spaghetti; it tastes like dessert.
All clocks in my home must be perfectly synced with atomic time. I will sit there and wait until the very last moment before hitting the button to confirm the time on the microwave/stove/wall clock/etc., so that it doesn’t change over to the next minute until it’s supposed to.
The irony is that the rest of my life is in complete chaos due to having untreated ADHD. Keeping accurate time is the one thing I care about having in order. Thankfully DST doesn’t exist where I live so I rarely have to re-sync everything more than once every couple of years or so.
You have to pay to unlock heroes, many of which can improve your performance once you find one that best matches your playstyle. I consider that P2W.
Shit like this is why I won’t buy another handheld console again until they can smoothly run the latest games at at least 1440p 240hz (I was initially going to say 4K but 1440 is enough for a small screen IMO).
I don’t care if it takes a decade or more, I’m happy with my desktop; I’ll wait.
Yes* unfortunately. It’s very popular.
I’ll never understand why people enjoy P2W games.
They do but if you want to actually sanitize your dishes, the heater alone isn’t going to cut it.
Same. Water heater is on the opposite side of the house from the kitchen sink. I have to run the sink for several minutes just to run the dishwasher, which is annoying as hell. I hate how much water have to waste just for the dishwasher to get hot enough to clean effectively.
You can fix the issue by installing a pump on your water heater, but that’s a project that I’m saving for when I need a new one in a few years.

Problem solved.
Also FWIW you should care about cookies. That said, I use that filter in UBO but I’m wondering if using it is the same as hitting “reject all” or “accept all”? Does it even matter if you’re using Firefox and thus isolating cookies regardless?
Gotta be online. Single player AI just isn’t good enough yet to entertain my dopamine-deprived brain. (I have ADHD).
You’re thinking of vinegar. Soak them in vinegar.
All I want is a space pirate game that doesn’t require me to quit my job and dedicate my life to it in order to acquire a good enough ship to actually be competitive.
That, or a street racing MMO with realistic physics and a true-to-life level of customization and tuning, that has a map the size of small country. Like The Crew except no arcade physics and more than 5 players in a server. And also not shit.
Somebody, please make one of these two games already. I need this so badly in my lifetime before I die.
Fallout: London is pretty decent. It may be a mod, but it plays like a proper Fallout title. Enjoy that in the meantime. It won’t completely fill the void but it’s better than nothing.
