It’s just bad faith reporting. It reminds me of Kotaku sneaking into conventions before they opened to report what games were there.
It lowers my opinion of The Verge, I used to think they were at least reputable with standards, but that’s a real tabloid move.

When I get time off, I don’t know what to do with myself. Right now I have a full time night/ weekend job and I’m attending university with 5 courses. This summer I’m considering picking up another job because I won’t know what to do with myself.
I never heard of this game, except for how poorly it’s performed. I didn’t see any sneak peaks, or ads on the Playstation store. I didn’t hear about it from friends or guildies.
I know that’s a sample size of one, but no one I know or play games with had it in their radar at all. This game showed up one weekend with some drama over psn accounts or something, then flopped and I still know almost nothing about the actual game.
I saw more information on The Finals than I saw on this.
