Funny(?) …
I would use ‘funnily’ in that context.
As for the rest, the US actively supported China while the Japanese were invading. Doolittle’s Raid, for example, overflew the Japanese islands, dropped some bombs, and then landed in China, because they wouldn’t have had enough fuel to turn around and go home. China was essentially an ally in WWII.

I’m on MBin. Your username is displayed as: walden. I can mouse over that to learn that your full username is @walden@sub.wetshaving.social.
This is the same thing as email domain names and display names. Yes, scammers still exploit that, too, but for the most part, people have gotten used to also looking at the actual full email address, and not just the display name or mailbox name. The same can happen here.
Still, I would much prefer if the default view here showed the full username and not just the display name.
Technically, yes.

Hello, Chicago. Remember before it was an 800 number?
Musk is such a “genius” that he doesn’t realize that there are ways to produce text on a computer that don’t involve a keyboard.
Generational wealth transfer is the primary thing that’s keeping the working class subjugated.
Nothing new. In the 90s, I worked at luxury auto dealers in Lake County, IL. I heard from more than one person (porters driving people to/from home, mobile service vehicle, third parties who did work for people in the area) that there were a surprisingly large number of people who lived in crazy expensive houses in highly desirable zip codes and drove $100K+ cars (in 1990s dollars), where the inside of their house was just empty. Plastic lawn chairs and a table, cheap mattresses on the floor, that’s it. They’d sunk every dime they had into appearances.
That’s because when you’re high, everything is in slow motion.
Me either. Good thing I don’t care!
Reality has a liberal bias.
Failed fact checks: none in the last five years
“Left biased.”
Exactly.
Oh no, I guess it’s impossible for that to ever change.
