I think lots of games would hit a cpu bottleneck before they reach 120 fps
For real?
These are more like last 2 week but anyways:
Every update, Wayland breaks
Would you elaborate? If anything 555 and 560 should be more stable on Wayland
Ubisoft stock tanks to 10 year low!
*Zooms out*
Yeah it’s definitely star wars outlaws guys
You write like an ai
From this march:
Jyamma Games also said it was no longer planning to launch Enotria: The Last Song on Xbox alongside other platforms. This is to ensure “a superior experience for PC and PS5 players,” Jyamma Games CEO Giacomo Greco wrote in a statement on Steam. The exec suggested the studio will reassess an Xbox release once the game has launched elsewhere.
Maybe Xbox didn’t like the second class citizen treatment
I feel silly for not thinking this… It works fine without the mod unless you try to change resolution/fullscreen settings.
Apparently the mod is supposed to disable in-game resolution controls and force it to borderless window at monitor resolution when the flipmodel swapchain is enabled (which is necessary for hdr). It seems to do this by always launching the game in a 720p window and depending on if the custom swapchain is enabled it either resizes it to the screen or applies the in-game resolution setting. Gamescope doesn’t respond to the change and keeps outputting 720p in a 1440p window :/.
I can’t wait for wine wayland
Edit: Just found that using the --force-windows-fullscreen option fixes this issue!!
Source? This is using the same engine as Avatar frontiers and that can be played offline.
Early access tradition
I don’t like the new spidertron animation. It looks too jittery, unlike the gliding look of the old one. They should go with a 2-way symmetry instead of the 3 way one
I really hope they fix the idle cpu usage or at least improve the turn times to match it
TLDW: Every lemmy rant about games and tech industry you saw made into a video.
Yeah I’m glad reddit’s comment culture didn’t carry over
If I only browsed my subscribed feed that’d maybe amount to to 5-10 minutes of stuff a day. On the other hand if I open the all feed there’s an endless steam of the stuff I mentioned above. As I said, what’s lacking isn’t volume it’s the content of the volume
I don’t mean discussion about entertainment, I mean communities that entertain you like damnthatsinteresting, unexpected, nextfuckinglevel etc. And considering how much of their content is in video form, I don’t think they can viably exist in lemmy.
memes are everywhere
Maybe generic and reposted memes are, but nothing of the sort of niche meme communities that constantly popped up in reddit
It’s not the size, it’s the content. Lemmyverse is a lot more serious and honestly, gloomy. Average age seems to be quite higher too. If all you used reddit for was news, politics, technical discussion and porn lemmy might be perfectly fine but there’s way less meme or entertainment content here
And people explaining what the game is instead of how the game is.
Palwold dev talks too much
