Why not take the ice maker out so you have more freezer room, even filling that space with a bucket with ice will help the freezer stay colder easier if you don’t use the space. Could save energy long term and make it last longer

Believe it or not when I took my concealed weapons license class years ago it was in a small room indoors, at the end to ensure everyone has at least had fired a gun before, they handed us an old .22 handgun (maybe a browning? Long time ago) with a silencer on it. And 1 by 1 had us take shots at a small target with a sack of what I assume was dirt/corn/or such behind it.
So around 15 people in a 10 by 30 foot (3.3 by 10 meter) room where we shot at a target with the other 14 people standing behind us. No hearing protection was needed. It obviously is louder than the movies, but amazing to not have our ears ringing in a space so small.
The silencer on such a small handgun is awkward at best. Your natural instinct is to want to hold it up, as it weighs down the front of the gun drastically, but clearly you should/can not fire like that, as the gases will expell throughout the silencer resulting in injury more than likely. That was in Florida, the state which concealed weapons permit is accepted in the most U.S. states during travel. The class, took no more than a couple hours during a single night.
For real he obviously got tired, and went to sleep after doing so. Told his then girlfriend about it who was in bed, she said yeah sure whatever and rolled over and went back to sleep. Woke him up a little later when she realized the mattress was covered in blood and brought him to the hospital. He even has the scars and X-rays to prove it. Haha
Well since it’s on a small scale, maybe 500 million gallons of water per year might cool it off. So we are definitely in a skin melting blood boiling and non breathable hot air situation rising towards his face. -mostlu joking, I haven’t done enough math to back up these claims, but it very much seems like it would be so.
You can’t really dial down output from it, so I always assumed the one in his chest also has the energy to power all of the suit features.
I wonder how often they cause things like heavy metal poisoning, thankfully not enough people around me are shot to take a poll. Although I do know several people who have been shot. The majority, shot themselves. 1 actually did so intentionally. Not the brightest bulb. (Shot himself in the shin, so it wasn’t a suicide attempt)
Think it just varies by rounds/gun and surroundings. I’ve had 9mm’s be quite quiet, but I had a Walther PK380 that would make my ears ring in a field without protection. It’s a smaller round than a 9mm… So never understood why.
Isn’t the death star in orbit at one point?
Okay, so if we are going to give batman flack for having super-alloys, where do we stand on Tony Stark putting a reactor in his chest with no concernable heat sink. (He wears it without the suit)
Hard to say isn’t it? If 100 users join and 80 leave you assume they are up 20 users. If the number of bot accounts that joined was 30 of those, they actually lost 10 users, and advertisements are selling more ads to computers than people. Unless we can separate real accounts from fake ones… It’s all useless information
I think you just described why being on social media is bad for our mental health. Or most of the internet now really. I’ve never had ads or AI shit in the tens of thousands of Windows deployments I’ve had to push out at companies. I also don’t have them on my families personal machines.
It’s a bad move by Microsoft to include that shit… But it isn’t them that got my mental health this way. They are just falling into the well if everyone is shanking public mental health and making money off it … I guess we have to as well otherwise our shareholders quite literally will sue us for not attempting to make them more money at every stage all of the time reguardless of the harm it could cause.
Turns out capitalism might not be good for our mental health…
The following is all regarding primaries:
California, Alaska, and Louisiana have Ranked choice voting, in a way.
Alaska you can vote for ranked choice for presidency. (Top 4)
Louisiana, you vote for anyone, the ballots are not separated, so whoever wins 50% supposedly goes on (Top 4)
California is Top 2.
Notable mentions: Nebraska and Washington both allow top 2 voting as well regardless of party officialiation, but NOT for the presidential election yet.
If someone sees part of this wrong, let me know so I can correct it, but last I knew that’s how different some of our states are.
In 34 out of 50 states if you do NOT register, you can vote for any candidate in the primaries.
Not sure it breaks any laws, but I love how they show how slow the process would be. The election would be over before any of it mattered, and if Trump won, it’s federal so he could pardon any of it.
See below. It would take minimum 50 days just to start the process… Which isn’t even anything but letters at that point.
“Notice to respondents Within five days after receiving a proper complaint, OGC sends each respondent a copy of the complaint and a description of the Commission’s compliance procedures. The respondent has 15 days from the date of receipt to respond in writing, explaining why no action should be taken. In the case of a complaint that does not satisfy the requirements, the respondent nevertheless receives a copy of the complaint and an explanation that the complainant has 15 days to correct the complaint. If the complainant corrects and refiles the complaint, the respondent is sent a copy of the corrected complaint and is given 15 days to submit a response to the Commission.”
Every eligible voter in those states signing would be ~2 billion from some rough estimates.
Would be funny, but I won’t get my hopes up on him paying out anything on that.
I think he was pushing money to the GOP long before that.
The one I can’t seem to find an answer to though, is Ashlee Vance, originally from South Africa like Musk, wrote his Biography. (Works for Bloomberg or such). Is there a relation between Ashlee and J.D. Vance? I feel like we are going to find out they are second cousins or something, not like it would matter, but seemed strange to see the name Vance show up twice tied to PayPal money.
These days it is likely just so massive a population that last names are all to common to overlap.
I just assume that if it cleans off harder to remove substances like antiperspirant, it also would remove the oils and what not easier that get on me elsewhere. Grease, whatever. Need to remove oils from ivy, id rather it comes off easy and not have to find out a missed a spot. Convenience is a lazy man’s paradise.
I judge my body wash on the basis of if it can clean my antiperspirant off by the end of the day. (Shower at night before bed). Many men’s body wash require you to do a lot to get it to clean… Tried a seasonal pomegranate something one aimed at women one time and it smelled great and I hardly had to do anything more than just apply it. Win win. Then I never found it again. Dove products are cheap usually near me, some are terrible, some are amazing. I’m sure if I was smarter I’d read the ingredients and figure out what works best and verify it was in the new product, but maybe I’ll leave that for next year.
If you hear 5 people yell at 5 people then they take a vote and the vote comes out 101 to 5 and the rest staying silent (hypothetical), it’s different than 53-53. It helps you understand what others believe/support while not having to listen to all of them talk.
I’ve seen articles saying 12+ Nothing says fathers day like a dozen kids that don’t want you to be their dad
“Avocados from Mexico” is the only commercial I remember hearing on tv recently. I assume those 100% tariffs he wants on Mexico would raise the price of avocados right out of most buyers budget. I only buy them when they are in season around .60 cents. Over a dollar isn’t worth it to me. I’ve seen them as high as $2.50 sometimes here.
I’m hoping he was just spewing junk to rile up his base and doesn’t actually put tariffs on anything but cars (preferably nothing)
