I am happy to see such thorough peer review.
Bro just use twitter at this point.
That’s like choosing gangrene on your foot because you can’t decide which shoe to wear and tying the laces seems like a pain in the ass.
I agree with you. The market didn’t.
Ultimately, no. It was going to be at first but prior to release, it changed models and ultimately stayed at $30 until it died.
Executive said, “Fuck it, we’re charging $30”. He thought people would pay that even though its main competitors were f2p.
Don’t forget the fact that is was a free-to-play game with a $30 price-tag.
Lawbreakers was an excellent game that was killed by executive stupidity.
I know this is an old geezer comment but I miss FPS games where you could configure and host your own server. To this day I can still boot and find Unreal Tournament (1999) servers with active lobbies.
Imagine being a conscript. Imagine the relief of being assigned to a cushy post in Kursk instead of the front lines in Ukraine.
“I learned here there can be no true despair without hope.”
They can’t even offer a linux native XBox XCloud client that launches directly from Steam. How hard can that possibly be?
Also looking at you Geforce Now.
Day one D1 player here. I finally ditched out with Lightfall (I could not even finish the campaign). I really want to finish the saga but I just can’t bring myself to play it. I hear PvP is worse than dead now.
I expect Sony to shutter Bungie pretty soon, which is sad because a Destiny series and spinoff games in other genres that further the lore might have been really cool.
This bit hit hard for me.
Thousands of children were killed? It’s the enemy’s fault. Our own children were killed? That is certainly the enemy’s fault. If Hamas carry out a massacre in a kibbutz, they are Nazis. If we drop 2,000-pound bombs on refugee shelters and kill hundreds of civilians, it’s Hamas’s fault for hiding close to these shelters. After what they did to us, we have no choice but to root them out. After what we did to them, we can only imagine what they would do to us if we don’t destroy them. We simply have no choice.
EDIT:
Another poignant line.
…nothing empowers violence more than a righteous sense of victimhood.
UT99 for me. Diablo II for others.
Camera got them images
Camera got them all

Or use Mastodon. Either way…
It’s Sunday morning. Plenty of time to debate this important matter.
EDIT: The answer is yes.
