I don’t understand this article. Just last week the news here was that our prisons are overcrowded and we are considering leasing prison space in Eastern Europe. Maybe it’s only certain types of prisons that have shortages? Guess I should look into it a bit more.
Not really all that strange. I’m not up on how this particular vote went but if 39% is in favor only 23% needs to abstain for the ‘against’ vote to be in the minority. Also counting by percentage of the total population is misleading and kind of dumb, we’re never going to have individual referenda for this type of decision making and thank god for that. That’s how we got Brexit.

No one is trying to be the better person. Obama kind of did and we flamed him to hell for trying, he was too civil and tried too much to compromise, right? It’s trickling down folks. If Ubisoft can pocket 20% more profits for their games that means you the gamer will get 20% more updates for your favorite games. Really, that’s how it works.
