Stark made the suit with no help. He doesn’t need a specific suit because he has the skill to invent whatever he may need.
At this point, Peter can’t make himself a suit like that, so if he is nothing without it, he can’t respect the power it brings. But he isn’t nothing without it, which is what Stark is trying to teach him: not to rely on power of others.
It matters because you can get used games for sometimes a tenth of the price they charge on the digital store.
If Amazon didn’t pick up The Expanse it would’ve been cancelled at the point it was. I haven’t read the books, so I can’t say how well/poorly they followed the source material, but I enjoyed that it got the extra seasons.
I’ve never heard an ad mid-sentence. Surely that’s an error on the podcasters side. Don’t they have to mark the timecodes for ad placements?
Or just re-enter the story from a different point of view. The SGC sends another team to Destiny, we join whatever is left of the old crew, and they spend some of the first episode talking about the stuff that happened off-screen during the time gap.
The sequel Fade to Black was too clunky to enjoy. I never played the remake but I hear the remake is getting a sequel, so I might pick it up.
My favourite was Flashback. Kind of the spiritual sequel to Another World. I had the SNES version. I think it’s my all time favourite video game.
It wasn’t the tank controls per se. It was the tile based actions. Tomb Raider was basically a 3D Prince of Persia game. If you’re running and you press the jump button, the character would jump the next time to got to the edge of the current tile. It was a very deliberate and measured way to plan your moves.
They did that with Tomb Raider, but ironically the obtuse controls were pivotal to the game design.
They aren’t testing anything. They are just enacting a stealth twilight of old Reddit like they’ve been planning ever since they thought up the new UI.
That spelling really changes the vibe
World of Final Fantasy is as close to a Pokemon rip off as you can get, and they didn’t get sued.
Edit. And now I think about it, the mobile game of Rick and Morty was very much a reskin of Pokemon.
I think there’s no hard rules. I think in Australia, with the Dallas Buyers Club fiasco, the judge said a fair compensation for pirating a copy of the film was the price of the DVD, but because the studio were trying to sue a single individual for millions they threw the case out.
As far as know there is no precedent for piracy punishments on individuals. The best they can do is ask your ISP to send you a strongly worded letter.
What can’t you play?
Sure. Substitute “Lemmy” for whatever fediverse service it is mingling with.
If threads is incorporated into the larger fediverse, sure you’ll get a bump in dau, but threads will eventually dominate the user base. Then if they devide to cut ties with Lemmy sites, the fediverse basically loses 90% of engagement overnight.
Cheaper? yes. better? No. LLMs produce the most derivative inane BS that it would just act as filler. In classic RPGs and adventure games a lot of the filler dialogue was one line per NPC to represent a microcosm within a location. There’s nothing to be gained from theoretically infinite NPCs with theoretically infinite lines of pointless dialogue.
I love the Commandos series. Looking forward to this one.
