It’s old enough that I don’t actually know where is originally from. Another use posted something from over five years ago, and a comment is saying the image is “old enough to get its learner’s permit”. Maybe a hyperbole but that’s what it feels like.

Every nation suffers from the far right in the military and it should be dealt with. Like Wagner being founded by a neo nazi. Russia probably should denazify their military first. That could be a lot of captives. Is there any legal precedent or issue in sending prisoers of war to a third party nation to be held? The Netherlands have a very good prison system. It could serve a propaganda goal as well by showing them how the people who oppose their war treat prisoners.

There is no such thing as magic in this world, but if there was a magic genie that would let me bet my life that one of those people you mentioned would not be president six months from now, in exchange for a Twix ice cream bar, even if you had convinced the entirety of all lemmy federated servers to vote for them, I think I’d take it up.
