    It became almost a running gag in my life that if I like an item (sweets, yoghurt, toothpaste, ice cream, etc.) it will rather sooner than later be never restocked.
    It happened now about 5-6 times while a significant other amount of similar items remain to be stocked. And those arent even limited in any capacity ;-;

    Tbf I was and am always more of a lurker and maybe a commenter.
    My philosophy is that if I have no OC thing to post, I won’t. And I have never (to my knowledge) reposted a meme and only cross-posted one.

    Regarding the Linux thing: I like Linux but I have my personal issues with it (for example: >50 different ways to set a static IP). But I can not say anything against it being not stable. And I like it as a server OS. But I don’t see it yet outside of a steam deck (I think linux users call that an immutable OS?) and servers. Desktop is still a bit clunky.
    BUT Windows aint much better in a load of other bs. So it’s a solid 50:50

    Tbh I always ignored users like you because they added nothing to the conversation and were annoying.
    My usual response was “Neat. Now report it and stop posting and bragging” or people callung the sleuth bot for reposts.
    Considering how often Lemmy has posts reposted (I can see the same meme twice or thrice per week in the same community instance. My default sorting is ‘rising’).
