I’m actually kind of surprised/impressed that they went as far as taking front-line soldiers off the line to put them in prison when they were convicted of non-violent crimes they committed before the (full-scale) war. It really shows how Ukraine is honouring the ideals of being a just country that sticks by its laws, even in the face of hardship.
