I have two dogs. One is a lab/collie mix and a complete suck up, while the other is a 15 year Shih Tzu who it’s matter of all he surveys and is entirely spoiled (only because his brother went into congestive heart failure on a Mother’s Day right after lock down, and that hit me hard)
Oh and the big one has hit my glasses a number of times and knocked them out of shape and I keep having to get them re-adjusted.
I had a dog that chewed up my glasses. Plastic frames and lenses, so at least she didn’t cut herself. She also once chewed up a book someone loaned me. That was a fun explanation to give.
It was an okay book, but it basically ended on a cliffhanger and I don’t think a follow-up was ever written. It also suffered from way too many high-concept ideas crammed into one story.
